Adriaan Peperzak

Peperzak is the Arthur J Scmitt professor in philospy at Loyola University. His research in the history of philosophy has focused on Hegel and Emmanuel Levinas. He also published on Plato, Aristotle, Bonaventura, Descartes, Heidegger, and Ricoeur, and on thematic questions in ethics, social and political philosophy, metaphilosophy, and philosophy of religion. Besides Dutch, he speaks and writes English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian; he also reads ancient Greek, Latin and Portuguese.
