The Purdue University Press Series in Philosophy/Communication provides opportunities for explorations, deliberations, and investigations across the terrains of those disciplines that deal with issues concerning the intersections of philosophical and communicative practice. It seems unlikely that major new advances could be made in either field without considerations drawn from what each offers the other.

There are well-worn paths for familiar professional studies that remain inside historical and institutionalized boundaries. This series is on a different route, one that takes its new direction at a multidisciplinary intersection that might well lead to post-disciplinary destinations fitting to the university in particular and the larger intellectual life in general at the dawn of the millennium.

Titles in the Philosophy/Communication Series:

Communicative Praxis and the Space of Subjectivity [More]

by Calvin O. Schrag

The Life-Giving Gift of Acknowledgement [More]

by Michael J. Hyde
