Shofar Supplements in Jewish Studies

Shofar Supplements in Jewish Studies is a book series linked to Shofar: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Jewish Studies. Volumes range widely, appropriately for a multidisciplinary field such as Jewish studies, but they tend to focus more on Jewish literature, culture, and history in the modern period and recent past. The series accepts both single author and edited manuscripts, written for audience levels ranging from advanced undergraduate to post-graduate. Volumes designed for undergraduate audiences are marked out by the addition of useful pedagogical apparatus, such as discussion questions at the end of chapters, and authors are encouraged to supply these along with their manuscripts. The series is well-known for speed of production and the fact that books are circulated in electronic as well as print form, both through the Project Muse / UPCC collection and through online retailers. Authors interested in submitting a manuscript should contact the series editor, zevgarber [at] juno [dot] com (Prof. Zev Garber) of Los Angeles Valley College.
