About the Author(s):

The late John J. Quinn was a lecturer in decision theory, strategic management, and business ethics at Brunel University. He was the coauthor of Strategic Control: Milestones for Long-Term Performances.

Peter W. F. Davies is a visiting professor at Buckinghamshire Business School, where he was previously a senior lecturer in strategic mangement and business ethics. Formerly a mining engineer, he is developing research in engineering ethics. He is the editor of Current Issues in Business Ethics.
