About the Author(s):

Neville Bain is a company Director, consultant and author of management books. He is Chairman of the Post Office, Hogg Robinson and the SHL Group. He is a non-executive Director of Scottish & Newcastle, Safeway and Gartmore Scotland Investment Trust. He is a member of the Council of The Institute of Directors and a Governor at the National Institute of Economic Social Research (NIESR). Previously, he was the Group Chief Executive of Coats Viyella plc for almost seven years and before that he spent twenty-seven years working internationally for Cadbury Schweppes, holding the position of Deputy Group Chief Executive at the conclusion of his time there.
